We invite you to become a member of the Illinois Association of Wheat Weaving. Membership is open to anyone interested in preserving the heritage and history of wheat weaving. Members learn many aspects of straw art and help to share the craft with others in their communities and across the globe.
IAWW members meet several times a year for workshops and social activities. They are also active in teaching wheat weaving to schools, scout groups, churches and community groups. IAWW publishes a quarterly newsletter for its members. The newsletter features designs, instructions, tips, updates on members and important upcoming activities.
Visitors are always welcome to attend an IAWW event to learn more about becoming a member.
